Bubbles - A Princess Story - The Final Conflict

And then….

Enter the Dragon

Zupp!! Zupp!! Zupp!! Zupp!!

There she was, Princess Bubbles mounted on Tyrano – The Wise, a dragon, the guardian of Irenia’s sacred truth and its flag bearer. The sound of his wings flapping was drowned in a huge cheer. Hopes were restored, morale was high once again and The Monkey’s army fought with renewed vigour. Tyrano flew around the fortress breathing fire at Damien’s troops. Soon Damien’s first and third divisions were jumping into the Pond of a Thousand Lobsters to put out the flames engulfing their back sides. His second division though had the distinct honour of being the first half dead men to be orbiting the earth. Such was the effect that Tyrano brought to this war against Damien. Tyrano wiped out every single soldier of Damien’s, every single soldier i.e. except Damien and his Dark Horses before ramming head first into the Gates of Heaven, dizzy from a loop he executed as celebration.

It was now the Imperial Guard of the King against Damien’s Dark Horses, the Monkey and his Princess Bubbles against Damien. The Imperial Guard was making quick work of the Dark Horses. But The Monkey and Princess Bubbles had their work cut out.

Damien’s agility and his four arms and three legs proved much too difficult for the Monkey and Princess Bubbles but the will to defend Irenia from falling into the clutches of such a tyrant was egging them on to defeat him. Damien hopped over Bubbles with his first leg, stepped aside and ducked past the Monkey’s sword, jumped off the wall with his third leg and speared in to the Monkey. The Monkey dodged but Damien was quicker. The Monkey fell to the ground with a loud thud, his arms cut wide open by Damien’s sword. Princess Bubbles in one swift movement full of rage leaped off three pillars between her and Damien and lunged at him with her sword pointing straight at his heart. Damien scissor kicked her into the left corner of the room and she fell to the ground.

The Monkey and Bubbles were badly hurt but they were not going to give up just yet. With a broken rib and a busted nose, Princess Bubbles ran up the left wall of the room, slingshot around the pillar behind Damien and speared into him, taking him off his feet. At the same moment, the Monkey hurled across the room, launched himself in the air and lunged at Damien, to finally finish the kill. Damien was quick to get his sword in the way which rebounded from the impact and flew right past his head after slicing his third leg. Damien was now surrounded by the Imperial Guard, one leg (read manhood) short, disarmed and at the mercy of the Monkey and Princess Bubbles. Princess Bubbles angered by the Gateway of India that Damien left in her teeth spring boarded off the walls of the room, jumped 20 feet in the air, came spiraling downwards like the screw of a drilling machine and buried her sword into Damien’s chest.

Damien was slain and what was left of his Dark Horses were captured and imprisoned in the deepest, darkest dungeons of Irenia. A battle was fought, a war was Won!! But at what price was the question he was asking himself. And there he was the Monkey, holding his beautiful but brave princess in his arms. Was it really worth it?? The answer to his question came to him in a soothing voice that he had become so used to in all the years that he had known her – “Yes it was worth it.”



Epilogue

Tyrano, Princess Bubbles and the Monkey together restored peace and order in Irenia. Tyrano shipped himself off to a Buddhist monastery in the North of Bhutan. The Monkey and Princess Bubbles made love for the rest of their lives. They were to have eleven children who would eventually form the Irenia Football Team. Lord Yama had Damien-de-Kofta (a dish made of red hot Damien and Indian masalas) for lunch every day and the people of Irenia practiced the law of the land – “Love Thy Neighbour”.

They all lived happily ever after!!
